accompany的用法

　　■我陪你去。

　　誤：I will accompany with you.

　　正：I will accompany you.

　　析：accompany(陪伴, 伴隨)是及物動(dòng)詞，其后無需用介詞。又如：Thunder accompanies lighting.(雷聲伴著閃電)。但是, 用于 被動(dòng)語態(tài)的 accompany 后面可接介詞 with 或 by。如：The lightning is accompanied with thunder.(電閃雷鳴)。He was accompanied by his secretary.(他有秘書隨行)。

　　■他堅(jiān)持要陪她去車站。

　　誤：He insisted on accompanying her to go to the station.

　　正：He insisted on accompanying her to the station.

　　析：表示陪某人去某地，只說 accompany sb to a place即可，通 常不說 accompany sb to do sth。

　　■坐在這兒陪我一會(huì)兒。

　　誤：Sit here and accompany me for a while.

　　正：Sit here and keep me company me for a while.

　　析：accompany 在一般英漢詞典均注為“陪伴”、“陪同”，但它 在英英詞典里的在此義方面的釋義是：to go somewhere with someone, especially to look after them，所以不要一見到 漢語的“陪伴”就用英語的 accompany 去套譯。
