　　1. 表示“聽眾”、“觀眾”,是集合名詞,用作主語(yǔ)時(shí),其謂語(yǔ)可用單數(shù)或復(fù)數(shù)。如:

　　The audience was [were] enjoying every minute of the performance. 觀眾對(duì)演出非常欣賞。

　　有時(shí)由于語(yǔ)義的需要,分別用單數(shù)或復(fù)數(shù)更合適。如:

　　2. 形容聽眾人數(shù)之多或少,通常用 large, small, crowded, thin等形容詞修飾audience。如:
