英文簡歷制作注意事項(xiàng)
1、明確你要尋求的是不是這個(gè)職位。只有你明白這個(gè)職位做什么,你要尋求這個(gè)職位才能突出你的經(jīng)歷。第一輪英文簡歷的篩選基本上是比較固定的。如果你不符合一些明確的標(biāo)準(zhǔn),只有1/3左右的公司會(huì)給予機(jī)會(huì)。
2、英文簡歷的格式和外表這重要性遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)超過人們預(yù)料。一份好的英文簡歷不僅有主題突出的經(jīng)歷,而且有特點(diǎn)的包裝和格式是吸引注用人單位人事經(jīng)理的主要方面之一。如果使用各種字體格式,如斜體、大寫、下劃線、首字突出、首行縮進(jìn)或尖頭等等方式,有重點(diǎn)有節(jié)奏地表達(dá)思想。有些求職者以為另類的英文簡歷會(huì)讓人耳目一新,所以往往追求新、廳奇的特色。除非是你尋求的職位有些別樣,最好是在簡潔、醒目上下功夫,不要過于花哨,否則適得其反。
3、盡可能只有一頁A4紙,最多不超過2頁。A4紙是當(dāng)前大多數(shù)公司使用的文件紙張,具有一定親和力和正式感覺。千萬不要使用A4以下的紙張,除非你明確知道這個(gè)公司的文件是以A4以下如B5紙張為常用文件用紙,否則給人以小氣、寒酸和局促之感。1.4分鐘的時(shí)間充其量也只是人事經(jīng)理會(huì)掃視你的英文簡歷。一份優(yōu)秀的英文簡歷也就是在這一頁紙主題鮮明的表達(dá)給用人單位,用人單位的人事經(jīng)理也就是通過1.4分鐘,然后用幾秒鐘最多30鈔的第一影響決定是否給你下一個(gè)機(jī)會(huì)。因此寫得越多,并不代表出你的優(yōu)秀。
4、強(qiáng)調(diào)出你適合這個(gè)職位的成功經(jīng)驗(yàn)和經(jīng)歷。如果你應(yīng)聘的是一個(gè)行政人員,你最好不要過多地說你能做一個(gè)合格的銷售人員。如果你尋求的是一個(gè)具有決策影響力的職位,你不要用可能、也許這樣的詞匯出現(xiàn)在英文簡歷上,因?yàn)檫@樣只是讓人感到你不是一個(gè)果斷的人。針對(duì)不同的用人單位和不同職位,表現(xiàn)形式不同。比如外企更重視英語和學(xué)校名聲,中國公司看重專業(yè)和戶口。對(duì)于越是熱門的公司,其往往對(duì)在校成績更關(guān)注。實(shí)戰(zhàn)中,建議制作不同的英文簡歷來突出不同的要點(diǎn)。
