DEREK: You won't believe what just happened.
KELLY: What?
DEREK: I went down to change some money, right?
KELLY: Yes. We need some. How much did you change?

DEREK: Not today.

DEREK: It seems that yesterday the Mexican government declaredit wouldn't pay back the loansit got from the World Bank.The government declared a default on the loans.
KELLY: That's serious.
DEREK: I know. The economy here is having serious problems.But because the government declared a default, the currency value went way down.
KELLY: So now Mexican pesos are worth about half as much.
DEREK: Yes, it's an amazing drop.
KELLY: Wow. I feel sorry for the Mexicans. But it's good for us.
DEREK: Yes, it's very good. We suddenly have twice as much money to spend here.Our hotel is now half as expensive as when we got here! Isn't that strange?
KELLY: Yes, and you know what?
DEREK: What?

戴瑞克：是啊，真驚人的下跌。

史都爾：如果是這樣，那么保安工作要做得非常好才行。因為隨便讓人在白宮走動是很奇怪的。
雪倫：我相信保安工作一定很嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)，可能像機場那樣必須通過偵測器。
史都爾：那么我就不能帶槍啰!
雪倫：別老是開這種玩笑，你根本沒有槍。
史都爾：我的確沒有。
雪倫：你不應(yīng)該說這種話，會被抓去的。
史都爾：什么?會有人因為我開玩笑就逮捕我?會有人在這餐桌上就將我逮捕嗎?
雪倫：不是，不過如果你在白宮說那樣的話，他們就會當(dāng)真。有時候你玩笑開得太過火了。
史都爾：我會小心的，別擔(dān)心，我并不想被聯(lián)邦調(diào)查局的人逮捕。不過參觀白宮要多久?

史都爾：好的，我們吃完早餐就搭出租車去。
