一、導(dǎo)語(yǔ)
隨著2010年11月《普通高等學(xué)校招生全國(guó)統(tǒng)一考試》﹙江蘇卷說(shuō)明﹚的出臺(tái),我們發(fā)現(xiàn)了與以往任何一年的考試說(shuō)明所不同的是,今年提供了兩篇書面表達(dá)樣文。一篇為2009年江蘇高考英語(yǔ)書面表達(dá),即表格加插圖談鼠標(biāo)的利弊,另一篇為漫畫作文。﹙附樣題2﹚ 示例2
下圖描繪的是現(xiàn)在許多家長(zhǎng)的苦惱。請(qǐng)你根據(jù)對(duì)下面這幅漫畫的理解用英語(yǔ)寫一篇短文,描述一下他們可能的做法并發(fā)表你的看法。
漫畫一方面比文字材料更直觀形象,另一方面則由于夸張而使諷刺意蘊(yùn)的含義更復(fù)雜,更不容易把握,而我們的學(xué)生在這一類作文方面幾乎沒(méi)有任何的訓(xùn)練。雖然2010年高考英語(yǔ)書面表達(dá)會(huì)考什么誰(shuí)也不能斷言,但幫助學(xué)生在漫畫類作文方面有所準(zhǔn)備是非常有必要的。
二、問(wèn)題的提出
學(xué)生課前在教師沒(méi)有任何指導(dǎo)的前提下已嘗試過(guò)這篇范例的寫作,所以教師首先安排了一個(gè)小組討論的活動(dòng),就寫作過(guò)程中所遇到的問(wèn)題進(jìn)行討論,以小組為單位提出問(wèn)題。學(xué)生的問(wèn)題主要集中在以下幾個(gè)方面:
1.讀圖??床欢畧D中人物的關(guān)系和身份,不理解漫畫所要表達(dá)的含義。
2.解意。無(wú)法體會(huì)漫畫所傳達(dá)的幽默,不能聯(lián)系實(shí)際生活。
3.謀篇。對(duì)于英語(yǔ)漫畫類作文的基本結(jié)構(gòu)完全沒(méi)有概念,不知如何下手。
三、問(wèn)題的解決
針對(duì)學(xué)生提出的這三方面的問(wèn)題,教師通過(guò)講練結(jié)合的方式幫助學(xué)生各個(gè)擊破。
1.讀圖。要求學(xué)生在讀圖時(shí)務(wù)必關(guān)注四個(gè)方面:(1)題目。漫畫的標(biāo)題是漫畫的眼睛,透過(guò)這個(gè)“眼睛”,可以洞察整幅漫畫的主題。(2)畫面。漫畫畫面上的每一個(gè)細(xì)節(jié)都對(duì)表達(dá)漫畫的寓意有提示作用。(3)語(yǔ)言。漫畫為了表達(dá)其寓意,常常配有言簡(jiǎn)意賅、畫龍點(diǎn)睛的語(yǔ)言文字,思考這些語(yǔ)言文字中所隱含的作者的觀點(diǎn)。(4)夸張。漫畫為了說(shuō)明某種觀點(diǎn),常常對(duì)人物行為或場(chǎng)景描繪給以變形夸張,以引起讀者共鳴。夸張之處往往是漫畫的弦外之音,是漫畫所要表達(dá)的寓意所在。
2.解意。在理解和闡釋漫畫含義時(shí)要關(guān)注三點(diǎn):(1)確定作者的基本態(tài)度,是屬于夸張褒揚(yáng)還是屬于批評(píng)諷喻;(2)運(yùn)用想象力,合理的把漫畫所描述的現(xiàn)象和實(shí)際生活相聯(lián)系;

要特別注意除圖片外的文字提示部分,它往往暗示了行文的方向和重點(diǎn),必須仔細(xì)閱讀。
3.謀篇。英語(yǔ)漫畫類作文在行文時(shí)往往分為三個(gè)部分:(1)describe the picture; (2) interpret the picture; (3) give your opinions. 這樣的結(jié)構(gòu)可以使文章邏輯清晰,脈絡(luò)分明。同時(shí),這三個(gè)部分都有一些套語(yǔ)可以使用,熟記這些套語(yǔ)可以幫助學(xué)生明顯提高文章的檔次。如:

在解決問(wèn)題的過(guò)程中,教師就每個(gè)問(wèn)題都配備了相應(yīng)的漫畫,在指導(dǎo)之后給學(xué)生分別以小組或個(gè)人的形式加以操練,以做到當(dāng)堂學(xué)習(xí),當(dāng)堂鞏固。
四、注意點(diǎn)的補(bǔ)充
就英語(yǔ)漫畫類作文的特點(diǎn),教師還補(bǔ)充幾點(diǎn)要求學(xué)生在行文時(shí)注意:(1)保證作文的三要素---體裁、人稱、時(shí)態(tài)要正確;(2)避免漫畫類作文的一些常見錯(cuò)誤,如:誤解圖意、中心不明等;(3)控制字?jǐn)?shù),不能太短,但也不要太長(zhǎng);(4)結(jié)尾盡量要寫地精彩。
五、總結(jié)

The aim of the painter of the drawing is to reveal the fact that people in modern society are losing the courage to openly support what is right and condemn what is wrong due to their personal interests. The theft case in the bus is a case in point. Most often, nobody is brave enough to stop the thief.
