Man’s youth is a wonderful thing: it is so full of anguish and of magic and he never comes to know it as it is, until it has gone from him forever. It is the thing he cannot bear to lose, it is the thing whose passing he watches with infinite sorrow and regret, it is the thing whose loss with a sad and secret joy, the thing he would never willingly relive again, could it be restored to him by any magic.
青春奇妙無(wú)窮,充滿魅力,充滿痛楚.青春年少的時(shí)候根本不知青春為何物,直到青春一去不復(fù)返了才對(duì)青春有了真正的認(rèn)識(shí).誰(shuí)都想讓青春永駐,不忍青春離去;眼睜睜地看著青春流逝,心中會(huì)涌起無(wú)窮的憂傷和惋惜;青春的失去是人們永遠(yuǎn)感到悲哀的事;青春的失去是人們真正覺(jué)得悲喜交集的事;即便奇跡出現(xiàn)青春復(fù)蘇,誰(shuí)都不會(huì)心甘情愿重度青春的歲月。
Why is this? The reason is that the strange and bitter miracle of life is nowhere else so evident as in our youth. And what is the essence of that strange and bitter miracle of life which we feel so poignant, so unutterable, with such a bitter pain and joy, when we are young? It is this: that being rich, we are so poor; that being mighty, we can yet have nothing; that seeing, breathig, smelling, tasting all around us the impossible wealth and glory of this earth, feeling with an intolerable certitude that the whole structure of the enchanted life – the most fortunate, wealthy, good, and happy life that any man has ever known – is ours – is ours at once, immediately and forever, the moment that we choose to take a step, or stretch a hand, or say a word- we yet know that we can really keep, hold, take, and possess forever- nothing. All passes; nothing lasts: the moment that we put our hand upon it , it melts away like smoke, is gone forever, and the snake is eating at our heart again; we see then what we are and what our lives must come to.
為什么如此?因?yàn)樵谇啻簳r(shí)代,生活充滿了奇特而辛酸的不可思議的事.我們?cè)谇啻耗晟贂r(shí)帶著悲喜交集的心情,十分強(qiáng)烈而不可名狀地感受到人生的奇特辛酸/不可思議的經(jīng)歷.其實(shí)質(zhì)是什么呢?其實(shí)質(zhì)是這樣的:青春年少的時(shí)候,雖然殷實(shí)富足,卻非常貧窮;雖然力氣強(qiáng)大,卻一無(wú)所有;世間的富貴榮華觸目皆是,簡(jiǎn)直可以呼吸到,聞到嗅到,還可以品嘗到,心中的自信按捺不住,深切地感受到整個(gè)被陶醉了的生活——人類迄今為止所直到的最幸運(yùn)/最富有的美好幸福的生活,只要我們決定向前邁步,奮發(fā)努力,便立即歸我們所有了,并將永遠(yuǎn)屬于我們.然而,我們知道,我們真的永遠(yuǎn)不能抓到什么,永遠(yuǎn)不能獲得什么,永遠(yuǎn)不能占有什么.一切匆匆過(guò)去,蕩然無(wú)存.我們一出手它就煙消云散,飄然而去,一去不復(fù)返了.于是,心中泛起陣陣隱痛,看到了自己真實(shí)的面孔,看到了自己未來(lái)生活的必然走向。
A young man is so strong, so mad, so certain, and so lost. He has everything and he is able to use nothing. He hurls the great shoulder of his strength forever against phantasmal barriers, he is a wave whose power explodes in lost mid – oceans under timeless skies, here-aches out to grip a fume of painted smoke, he wants all, feels the thirst and power foreverything, and finally gets nothing. In the end, he is destroyed by his own strength, devoured by his own hunger, impoverished by his own wealth. Thoughtless of money or the accumulation of material possessions, he is none the less defeated in the end by his own greed a greed that makes the avarice of King Midas seem paltry by comparison.
青年人非常堅(jiān)強(qiáng),狂熱自信,但容易迷惘混沌,雖然機(jī)緣無(wú)數(shù),卻把握不住,雖然身強(qiáng)體壯,試圖沖破重重虛幻的屏障,卻如同一個(gè)波浪,最終還是無(wú)力地消失在曠遠(yuǎn)浩淼的大海中央,他伸出手想要抓住斑斕的云煙,他想得到世間的萬(wàn)物,渴望主宰一切,最終卻是一無(wú)所獲.最后,他被自己的力量所毀滅,被自己的饑餓所吞食,被自己的財(cái)富弄得貧窮潦倒.他對(duì)金錢或財(cái)富的積累不以為意漫不經(jīng)心,然而最終還是被自己的貪欲所吞噬。
And that is the reason why, when youth is gone, every man will look back upon that period of his life with infinite sorrow and regret. It is the bitter sorrow and regret of a man who knows that once he had a great talent and wasted it , of a man who knows that once he had a great treasure and got nothing from it , of a man who knows that he had strength enough for everything and never used it.
青春消逝,驀然回首,無(wú)論是誰(shuí),心中都會(huì)充滿無(wú)盡的憂傷,充滿無(wú)窮的懊悔.曾經(jīng)才智卓越,卻白白浪費(fèi)了,曾經(jīng)財(cái)富殷實(shí),卻一無(wú)所有,曾經(jīng)本事高強(qiáng),卻從未利用.一個(gè)認(rèn)識(shí)到自己失落青春的人回憶起來(lái)總是充滿悲傷和懊悔。

青春的字眼慢慢的覺(jué)得陌生，年輪總是很輕易的烙下蒼老的印記。以為總是長(zhǎng)久的東西，其實(shí)，就在轉(zhuǎn)神與剎那間便不在身邊了。曾經(jīng)深愛(ài)、思念著的人便輕易的變成了曾經(jīng)熟悉的陌生人。曾經(jīng)純真無(wú)邪，曾經(jīng)美麗夢(mèng)想，隨著四季輪回慢慢的散盡……這就是青春，在歲月里的轉(zhuǎn)身，從一個(gè)熟悉到另外一個(gè)陌生，再?gòu)哪吧D(zhuǎn)變到熟悉，直至一場(chǎng)場(chǎng)的青春的帷幕漸漸的落幕。在青春的酸甜苦樂(lè)里稚氣里的幻想慢慢的褪去。
“Youth” seems to be fading away in my life, only leaving me some unforgettable and cherished memories. Something that we used to think would last forever in our lives, had actually vanished in a second before we realized it. Those who we used to deeply love or miss, have now become the most acquainted strangers. Our once pure and beautiful dream, is gradually fading away with time passing by……This is youth, which is indeed an endless cycle from familiarity to strangeness, and from strangeness to familiarity, until the curtain of our youth is closing off little by little, along with our childish fantasies.
人就是這樣一種奇怪的動(dòng)物，擁有的時(shí)候厭倦，失去回首的時(shí)候才酸痛。得到了很多，失去的也不少，只是希望抵達(dá)安詳?shù)男撵`。很喜歡小孩，因?yàn)樗麄冇兄祟愋撵`最純正的東西，他們的人性是最美的。喜歡親近老人，因?yàn)榭梢愿杏|到他們心靈的平靜，臉龐的安詳，也許生活對(duì)于他們而言就是盡量的用最舒適的方式過(guò)完余生。喜歡貓，只因?yàn)樗麄兊你紤卸栽?，有一種踏實(shí)感。
Human is such a strange animal that when we mostly did not cherish something until we lost it. We have gained a lot of things, but also lost a lot. What we want is merely getting the peace of mind. We care for children because they are the most pure-minded and kind-hearted among human beings. We are fond of staying with the old, because we can sense their inner peace from their serene faces. Maybe for them, the essence of life is to live it in the most comfortable way they deem. We may also love cats because their relaxation renders us a substantive sense of life.
生命里太多的東西太容易的散去與破碎，所以，學(xué)會(huì)了習(xí)慣性的冷漠與淡然，也許，更多的時(shí)候我們更愿意相信自己，不愿隨便的托付，因?yàn)樯罾铮瑳](méi)有永遠(yuǎn)的唯一，所有的東西終究有一天都會(huì)離我們而去。有時(shí)不是世界拋棄了我們，是我們自己先拋棄了世界，因?yàn)槲覀儗W(xué)會(huì)了習(xí)慣性的否定，習(xí)慣性的抵制而讓許多的東西擦肩而過(guò)。¬太多的時(shí)候，我們自己更愿意相信是生活傷害了我們，而不愿去接受是自己的缺失傷了自己。
There are many things in our lives that are easily gone or broken. Therefore, we will gradually learn to become apathetic and indifferent towards everything. Maybe oftentimes, we are inclined to believe in ourselves rather than trust and rely on others, because in our lives, nothing will stay with us eternally and all will be gone one day eventually. Sometimes it is not the world that abandons us, but we who abandon the world. It can be evidenced by the fact that we have learnt to deny something habitually and therefore lost a lot of things. More often than not, we would believe that it is life that hurts us rather than believe that it is our personality flaw that hurts ourselves.
我們總想設(shè)法的去改變自己的命運(yùn)，設(shè)法的讓身邊親近的人過(guò)的更幸福一點(diǎn)，設(shè)法著哪一天可以抵達(dá)理想的彼岸，設(shè)法著讓自己擁有幸福的感情，可是，發(fā)現(xiàn)很多東西是那么的難，所有的東西要實(shí)現(xiàn)不是一陣子而是一輩子的事，一輩子太長(zhǎng)，很多的東西容易變質(zhì)，誰(shuí)也沒(méi)有辦法保證永遠(yuǎn)。所以，更多的時(shí)候沉默也許是自己回答所有的最好方式，既然承諾不了，何必多言，萬(wàn)事還需自己努力的經(jīng)營(yíng)。
We are in strenuous effort in changing our fate, bringing more happiness to people around us, realizing our dreams and reaching the love we are anticipating. However, we soon realize it is by no means easy to achieve any of them. It is a lifelong commitment and many things would alter with time and no one can guarantee eternity. Hence, silence becomes the best solution to all difficulties and hardships. Since we cannot make a for-sure promise, why do we still bother to boast too much about it? We still need to get down to our business with our own effort.
轉(zhuǎn)眼的青春留在心底太多的東西。生活，就像手心里的雞蛋總是小心翼翼著，應(yīng)該珍惜著每一份真誠(chéng)與感動(dòng)，好的東西最容易擦肩而過(guò)了。盡量原諒每一個(gè)謊言，¬生活中誰(shuí)沒(méi)有過(guò)謊言。適者安生，不忍心看到流淚的雙眼，學(xué)會(huì)微笑，樂(lè)觀的生活.
The flying youth has deposited too many things in our heart. Life should be treated with special care like an egg in your hands. We should treasure every moment of sincerity and gratefulness because the best things will be gone very easily. Try to forgive every lie simply because everyone has ever lied sometime. If you do not want to have tearing eyes, then just try to smile and hold a positive attitude towards your life every day!

Youth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind; it is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees. It is a matter of the will, quality of the imagination, vigor of the emotions; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life.

Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity, of the appetite for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20. Nobody grows old merely by a number of years.We grow old by deserting our ideals.

Whether 60 0r 16, there is in every human being's heart the unfailing child like appetite of what's next and the joy of the game of living. In the center of your heart and my heart there is a wireless station, so long as it receives message of beauty, hope, cheer, courage and power from men and from the Infinite, so long are you young.
無(wú)論是60歲，還是16歲，每一個(gè)人的心田都有著尋根問(wèn)底、追求人生樂(lè)趣的不泯童心。在你我的心田中有座無(wú)線電臺(tái)，只要它能接受來(lái)自人類和上帝的美感、希望、歡樂(lè)、勇氣和力量，你就會(huì)永葆青春。
When the aerials are down, and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old, even at 20, but as long as your aerials are up, to catch waves of optimism, there is hope you may die young at 80.
如果你收起天線，給自己的心靈蒙上一層玩世不恭的霜雪和悲觀厭世的冰凌，即使你年方二十，你已垂垂老矣;但只要你豎起天線去收集樂(lè)觀進(jìn)取的電波，那就有希望在你八十高齡辭世之時(shí)仍然青春煥發(fā)。
