1. 形容詞原級可以被 very,quite,so,rather 等詞的修飾
1)very 非常
This is a very interesting book. 這是一本很有趣的書。
注:very 也可以接形容詞級,表示強調(diào)。格式是:the very + est結(jié)尾的形容詞級或是不規(guī)則形容詞級。例:the very lowest price 最低的價格

一、教學重點
本課時的教學重點是Let’s learn 部分的五個四會單詞:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday,要求學生開動腦筋巧記單詞,并結(jié)合所給句型靈活運用這幾個單詞。
二、教學難點
本課時的教學難點是正確拼寫從星期一至星期五這五個英語單詞。理解和使用各科目的名稱來表述課程安排。理解漢語中“上課”這一動作的正確表述方法,We have…。
三、課前準備
1.教師準備教學過程中所需要的圖片、聲音、課件,以及本課時的單詞卡。
2.教師和學生分別準備做游戲用的標有星期的圓盤,以及單詞卡。
3.教師準備相關媒體的播放設備,如錄音機、投影儀、幻燈片等。
四、教學過程
1.Warm-up(熱身)
(1)教師播放Start部分的歌謠Let’s chant,學生感知星期一至星期五的表述。還可選擇播放前幾冊學生用書中與本單元內(nèi)容有關的Let’s chant、Let’s sing、Let’s do 部分的錄音,學生聽音,有節(jié)奏地吟唱,并做出相應動作。如四年級上冊復習一中有關星期的歌謠,讓學生溫故知新,以減輕教與學的難度。
(2)教師使用四年級下冊第二單元中的句型:“It’s 8 o’clock. It’s time for Chinese.”引出句型:We have Chinese, English…on Mondays. 結(jié)合課程表,進行日??谡Z練習,內(nèi)容可參考如下:

2. Presentation(新課呈現(xiàn))
(1)教師結(jié)合Let’s start 的圖片和情景,提問:“What classes do you like?”引導學生復習有關課程的詞匯。讓學生理解一些新開課的名稱或較難掌握的名稱,如science, moral education, social studies。再讓學生看圖中七個小矮人的帽子,上面有星期名稱的縮寫,讓同學們猜一猜每個名稱的全稱是如何拼寫的。
(2)出示Let’s learn 部分的掛圖,向?qū)W生介紹星期一至星期五的名稱,播放聲音,讓學生跟讀。教師范寫五個單詞??捎貌噬酃P標出五個單詞的后綴-day,引導學生仔細觀察,發(fā)現(xiàn)單詞構成上的這一共同點。教師激勵學生巧記、速記單詞??稍诎鄡?nèi)進行“誰的記憶力最好?”的拼寫單詞競賽。最后讓學生在單詞卡背面仿寫單詞。
3.Let’s play (趣味操練)
(1)讀課表
讓學生按座次,依次說出Let’s learn 圖片中的課程表,每人說一個。教師可給學生們起個頭,說:“It’s a time schedule. Let’s have a look.” 第一名學生說,“It’s 8:00. It’s time for Chinese. We have
Chinese on Monday.” 第二名學生說,“It’s 8:50. It’s time for English. We have English on Monday.” 第三名學生說,“It’s 9:50. It’s time for math. We have math on Monday.”第四名學生說,“It’s 10:40. It’s time for music. We have Chinese on music.”
(2)Let’s play
學生手持標有星期的圓盤,隨意轉(zhuǎn)動指針,根據(jù)指針停下的位置用句型“What day is it today? It’s….”進行交流,鞏固所學新單詞。還可加入詢問和回答課表的句子,如What do we have on Monday? We have….
(3)Let’s sing
學生聽錄音或者看教學VCD,學唱歌曲“My Days of the Week”??筛鶕?jù)教學實際情況不在本課選用此部分。
4.Consolidation and extension(鞏固與擴展)
(1)讓學生做 A Let's learn部分的活動手冊配套練習。
(2)讓學生聽Let's learn部分的錄音,讀給朋友或家長聽。
(3)讓學生根據(jù)個人喜好設計英文課程表,在班級進行展示。
(4)讓學生參照Let's Play部分說一說,做一做,猜一猜。還可讓學生報出某天的課程,讓大家猜一猜是星期幾。
(5)讓學生把新學的歌謠或歌曲唱給家長或朋友聽。

教學反思:
本課時學習單詞星期一至星期五:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday,要求學生開動腦筋巧記單詞,并結(jié)合所給句型靈活運用這幾個單詞。對于星期幾,學生們并不陌生,可從復習舊知入手。如,復習怎么說時間的問題,幾點、幾號、星期幾等。再進而引入哪門功課的問題,如,It's 8 o'clock. It's time for Chinese.結(jié)合本班的課表說一說今天上什么課,We have Chinese, English…on Mondays.在操練新單詞時,可進行拼寫單詞競賽這樣的小游戲,因為學生們會很難一下子學會拼寫每一個單詞??刹扇§`活多樣的方式巧教、趣教,以減輕學生學習的難度。如,引導學生找出它們都含有day的規(guī)律,或者將星期二和星期四進行比較記憶等。
