Early Education
It's a good thing that many parents have already realized the importance of education, but some parents are too eager to start their own program to educate their young children. It's not unusual to see a 3 or 4 year old child busy learning many things, such as playing the piano, or drawing pictures, etc. However, few of them have any interest in the things they have learned, and even fewer will be successful in the future. There's a very famous saying, which goes "More haste, less speed." Without considering the age and interests of their kids, parents are actually killing their curiosity.
The so-called early education will do great harm to the children's development. So, if the parents really want to pay attention to the children's education, they should first think of their children's interests, and then make a reasonable plan according to the age of their children.

All work and no play. That seems to be holding true for kids these days. Children as young astwo can now sing, rattle off nursery rhymes and are growing up faster than anyone could everimagine.
It looks like innocent fun, but these toddlers are actually shaping up for graduation day; andthey started early, mind you. Like baby Via, who can sing, rattle off nursery rhyme identifycolours and animal all before she turns two. Little Via and her classmates are learning vitalsurvival skill skills these future leaders of India Inc. being taught in a 12-month program in aMumbai school. And, of course, these doting parents are very, very proud.
Mother: I feel like they have that potential, and we should use it.
No time to goof around—unh uh—or slack off in class. The rat race just got tougher, andthere's not enough time to soak it all up.
But are these children learning to run before they can walk? Or are they getting a head start ina ruthlessly competitive world? It's a question being asked with more and more schools inMumbai turning toddlers into little adults. Parents feel that such a program is essential for theiryoung kids today because these young children, themselve are inquisitive to learn new things. And perhaps that's why this school has a wait list for the next mother/toddler program. Butperhaps it is this thought that is not going down well with the child psychologists.
Dr. Chabbria (Child Psychologist): What is happening is that we might be churning out robotswho have all the information but actually do not really know how to use that information, andmaybe even be getting overconfident kid who cannot see beyond themselves.
Parents and children that play together learn together, and the school says parents are taughtconstructive play techniques. But the big question i with all that learning, does it leave theselittle ones any time to play?

China, as a developing country, has a large gap compared with developed countries. If we want to catch up with and even surpass the developed ones, education seems important and should be given the first priority. Besides, education seems the same important to individuals.
In modern time, when science and technology are making great progress, the education of the work force is the most important.
For individuals, education is the best way to improve oneself. Firstly, it's education thathelps people gain basic knowledge of the world, helping them to distinguish what is right and wrong. Secondly, education improves one's skills of life and work, which can make people live a good life or have achievements in career. Finally, education brings people ability of learning and that is the key role of education.
